It's been a long long week, finally time to rest today. Went back to school for BAOC'09, was good! Emotions, all came back, what we watched, performance, cheers, videos were so familiar. Recalled the times when SCOs worked so hard. Fulfilling, and i wouldn't mind doing it all over again. We talked, laughed, gossssiped till 11pm! So gonna have another gathering with them, an awesome bunch of people.

Dee was really nice to meet me after SMU's interview before heading to school. haha, im 99% sure im not gonna get a place in SMU. It was for School of Social Science, current affairs, social aspects, essays, argumentation, views... Phew~ its really so not me. I was asked to discuss 'Euthanasia' aka 'Mercy Killing'. I voiced my opinions, but i guess it was general and not in depth. Oh wells. I just found out, some argumentation to it. Luckily i wasn't nervous, but i just wasn't prepared and i cant imagine writing argumentative essays even if i get into FASS. well, ill prolly stick to Finance, get a degree in 2 years, get over and done with. At least it beats getting into a Local Uni, but not doing my interest. Pray that ill be able to find another person to study in Melbourne University with me!

Thinking about life after schooling. It's gonna come so quickly! Its working life in 3 4 yrs time! and add on another 4 5 yrs, its time to get married, another 2 yrs, baby. Become a parent.. and wow. Can't imagine, life is short, scary and unimaginable. (or rather, dont even wanna think about it) heh. Be prepared for tougher life ahead!

Physicians and other medical care people should not be involved in directly causing death
There is a "slippery slope" effect that has occurred where euthanasia has been first been legalized for only
the terminally ill and later laws are changed to allow it for other people or to be done non-voluntarily.

hello blog. havent written in a long long while, went missing. heh. Time really flies. 3 years in ngee ann, its over. phew~ got my final results last week, wasn't fantastic, nothing to be happy about. cus i know, it isn't good enough to enter nus, ntu, smu. graduating gpa ; 3.485. minimum req to business is 3.49, which is smu's min. cop. nus 3.50, ntu 3.7. sigh. been pretty sad, discouraged, faithless, without confidence that local unis will accept me. and the thing im sad about is that, ill hafta go to melb for 2 3 yrs, if thats really the case. im sad that ill hafta leave my friends, family and joel. its really getting to me now that its coming so close, 3 months and ill be leaving. the happy thing is that, luckily xy and stella's going over too. hopefully we'll get into the same school, same course and stay near each other. im so gonna miss my dear friends, the ones so true and have always been there. few but are what i will call friends forever. haha cliche, but heartfelt. dont wanna leave, Lord, let me stay. but if it is your will, ill follow.. Yay! the long weekday/weekends are here! no school on thurs & friday, whee (: today's cool. nothing bad happened, 9am tax tutorial and we had a tax quiz. (realised how weak i was, better start practicing for CT) common tests coming real soon, better buck up! maybe there'll be a 10% chance of getting into a local uni, into banking/business specifically. well, had lunch (bubble tea + chik hot plate noods) with jol & oli. headed home for a 3 hour nap before busing back to school for training. today, we ran ran ran ran ran, and nothing else. daniel's plan was 2 rounds warm-up, and then a long run at rifle range road. its a really good place to run, very light traffic, breezy, long straight road where we see no end. hah. but my mind failed me again, i stopped at the upslopes! hahahaha, gotta push. had dinner with a few of them at bukit timah mkt. funny lance & markus with the cheena slang & usual nonsensical jokes. a great bunch of sailors (: Club AGM's next wednesday, its time to pass the baton. Hope they'll do a great job, better than what we've done (: whoooppeee! meeting boyf tmrw, jol & mahjong gang on friday (:

school was exceptionally long and dready today. quite a fulfilling day, we worked on our project. but! i missed jeffrey wu's class at 9am, overslept ): we had some financial talk after project (supposedly compulsory). heh. came home, met joel for a run. was not bad, those horrid stitches didnt come. prolly cus i didnt had much to eat the whole day. ive gotta work on my mentality more though, if not... hohoho! stanchart's no joke! its gonna be a happy week! ive got no school from thursday till sunday! yippeeeyaaayoooo! :D

yesterday was funny. churched, then met jol to shop. had lunch at dhoby, headed to bugis to get some stuff. everything's just funny, cant stand the look on her blur face. lol. makes me laugh, till my mouth gets tired so quickly.. oh! we had dinner at some Hip Diner USA and we picked lucky draw coupons. Guess what? she got a free $5.50 milkshake, ive got a $28 Voucher! ((((:

this week's another eventful one. heh. ive been pretty busy the whole week, been going out catching up with friends. jolene, dee and ppl from ba society.. haha, a pretty enjoyable week. shopping with jol, high school musical with dee, caiquan's birthday celebration with society, short meetup with wenjin & carmen, teochew porridge with joel. packed week, time well spent. butttt, i neglected my schoolwork. and yay! no school on thursday & friday. aweeesome (: maybe one day for mahjong? anyhows, high school musical's sweeeet! it was my first, but really good. but its still a fiction, a tale.. everything's kinda perfect in the show, if only life could turn out that way (: hopefully, itll be a better week ahead. im getting lazy to blog nowadays. Its a good day today :) Simple, yet time was well spent. Churched. Went for Sunday school today and service after that. Headed to Dempsey for Margaritas with Joel & his parents & my cutest sister ever. Ive been wanting to give them a treat cus jo's parents always brought me out for food :) real good food :) haha. We ate so much, was even too full for dinner! heeeee.

Anws, ive reaally gotta learn to place my priorities right and know whats important in life. Ive been telling myself to be more fervent in prayer and to love God more. But i guess im falling away, and its a really bad thing. Im depending more on myself instead of putting all my trust, burdens, problems on Christ. Probably thats why im getting more irritated/agitated/attitudey nowadays. Horrible me. i need a serious wake up call.

Anyhows, school's getting real busy. Projects which i know-not-how to work on and i really hope this last semester in school would be a fulfilling one. Slack no further about my tutorials,projects,lectures and do my best for the Sailing Club.

All in all, i really thank God for my life. God is in control in everything i do, He has his plans for me and everyday is a testing, of how good a person can make out of every single day. Sinning or Following His Word & Commandments? To be of a character worthy to be called a Son of God or a Sinner who curse/gossip/talk bad? Your Choice. Just some reflection. heh. Anyhows, though i do face upsetting times, still.. the Lord delivers me out of every situation through His way. Im just amazed how life can be so smooth for me, with everything set in place. I guess ive been taking some things for granted many a times, e.g. not spending enough time with my Family (esp granny). Prolly, when i just put all aside and think back upon my life, i might earn something outta it. (Character-revamping needs to be done immediately!)

Im finally writing again. heh (: was either too busy or emo to write. Figured i didnt like writing about my bad days. Anyhowwws, everything's back in place and settled alrdy. Many many things/events happened during the past 3 weeks..

Dreadful school started, joel's birthday celebration, another celebration with joelfxwphia & partners, sailing trainings back on ball, great eastern 10k with andrea and the most recent sailor's halloween party. Its time to get started on projects. hopefully my precious IBM T60 doesnt put me down. sigh, its been giving me so much problems, cant seem to get it started, the other time, it took me 40 mins before i could un-hang the system. lol. forced shut downs really hurt :(

Life is pretty good now, except for some thoughts that keeps running occasionally....

It's a twist in my life right now. Well, i have no idea what's happening to my r/s with j. Met Dee for dinner at Marina, had a long talk over dinner at Hans. Was a good time spent catching up. Reminsced times when i wasnt attached yet, but it was the good old funny friendship times, the nice feeling when a girl is being chased. Sat there, recalling those times 2- 3 yrs back. Im so different now, compared to those years back. I guesws ive grown up. But, i wanna be like how i was before. Anyhows.. Dee, thanks for being one of my gd friends who'll listen to my problems and caring so much for me when im upset.. (:
Well, on the train ride back, j called and sanji drove us to hollandv for frolick. But i dont knw why, but things are just different btwn j & i. We're prolly facing the issue which has been going on since the very first day we got tog. it prolly just got more prevailant these past 2 mths. Its a friend-boyf thing. Sigh, i dont knw. maybe this problem is causing you to react differently towards me, & you prolly feel its unfair/ uncomfortable, till you feel so numb. Well, maybe its time we take some time apart.. give ourselves some time, some space alone to think abt us. we might get something outta it. or we may have different thoughts abt this r/s. maybe it will be gd, placing our priorities right. Our r/s with God, our time spent w our friends & family. i hope you do knw exactly how you really feel. sometimes, i'll feel like.. maybe itll be good if i go overseas to study.. a test of time & our love. im sad, but we've gotta face all these someday. Today, was kinda fulfilling. Got woken up by a call from our staff advisor, changing our com meeting day. /: then i got online to settle Sailing admin stuff and training details, emailing here and there. But im glad, trngs are firmed up and the juniors can start sailing! Good for 'em (:

Then i made my trip down to Party City, HV. Helped out Jacq, Aunty Esther & Angeline with stock. Did some pricing, packing.. haha, got me thinking how shy i was when i served my very first customer 2 yrs back in the shop. I dont mind working there again, funnn, no stress, good company! Hee, yeah so i was over at the shop for bout 7 hours.. bought a lil smiley balloon for gene to spur her on for her PSLE. haha could see she was happy. YAY! Yup, then i drove to Dover with my DAD to pick granny. Whoa, it was really an experience.... i think its better when i drive alone, no stress at all. My dad's the scariest. Kept looking at the speedometre, saying i must drive at 60km/h. and kinda scolded me when i drove at 80km/h. Luckily, he didnt sit in when i drove the other times, really gotta slow down and kick the habit. BAD.

Anyhows, relationship's so far so good :) hope itll stay like that. I was thinking the other day, how did i fall in love with you, the way you joked and all reminded me of how we used to be. But when bad times come by, everything's different. And ill start thinking, i used to always feel.. why do couples even quarrel? Its never a nice thing. But, i still wanna live what i believed in initally, and even now. Be happy, try putting yourself in his/her shoes, you'll understand and things will eventually be better. :D

Its a brighter day today, and im feeling better. The past few days since i got back from Vietnam was rather hectic. Been through really low times.. but well, im glad all that's gone. & im thankful for those who's cared so much for me. Those who play a BIG role in my life (:

Anyhows, i got back from IBSM Vietnam for bout 5 days alrdy? Well, the trip wassss.......... alright i guess. But shopping was Amazingly Awesome. haha.Before the trip, i told all my friends who were contemplating how much to change. Told them, theres surely nothing for you to buy over there, Sg's a better place to shop. & i was sure that i was just gonna buy coffee home. And guess what only 2 days of shopping, spent $400. But i told myself, no more shopping back in SG. The things were really cheap and affordable, except for the bags i bought :( From a 15kg luggage to a 24kg luggage. 9kg of bags, clothing, accessories, coffee powder. But most of it were gifts for my friends and family :) Other than that, the trip was really a study mission. Tiring, company visits day after day, tons of Q&As and late nights... But im happy ive got a module less of lectures and tutorials. Whoohoo!

Oh, something exciting this week. I learnt mahjong! Real funnn. lol. gonna play with Ms Jol and 2 other funny exclassmates. Alright, here's some pictures of my trip and my week. :)

Feeling so choked up, right here, right now. My mind feels so squished. Went through quite an ordeal this week.. with long tiring workshops, moving/staying btwn dover & hillview, busy preparations for viet, some friendship problem... but well, i know i have to learn to deal with all these.. be strong and live life well, like ive always did. But, somehow, i feel that whenever my life isnt on track with Christ.. my life will just seem to go wayward. Just not as smooth as life has always been for me when my faith was stronger, love for Christ was deeper, prayers were more sincere, when i would share my day with Christ.

i need you O Lord, take me through this weary point in my life.. take my hand, bring me back up where i started to fall. I wanna put You 1st in my life. Let these words not only be a saying, but a will in my heart. I need You, O Lord.

Well... my day was good here and there. Maybe just the last part of the day spoilt it all.. guess i was too tired from the whole day of rushing to get my viet stuff. grr.. dont wanna go /: Oh well. Had lunch with James & Joel at Kim Gary's hk cafe after church. Had a funny time lunching, with james nonsensical jokes. but seriously, still dont knw why he keeps laughing at me thinking im slow. Hello james, im much more alert now! After that, met my very very good friend. Feels like she'll be there for me whenever i need her. haha (: She called me out the night before, wanting to meet me to get my stuff for viet.. so many things not settled yet. Shoes, Bag, Formal tops, Berms. She didnt even had her lunch before meeting me, yeah. so she had upsized fried mars bar. walked around for hours getting my stuff and all.. till both of us had a headache squeezing through the crowd. Grr, sucks. Had some heartfelt talk over belgain choc latte and ice blended vanilla. Oh! she even taught me how to play mahjong.. cool ay? But sadly, couldnt have dinner tog cus i forgot i had a mooncake festival party at home! Owe you a nice dinner treat babe! anws, i really felt better today with yr company!

Wasn't in the mood to blog the past few days. Have been pretty busy in school lately, pre-vietnam trip 5 day workshop, 9-5. grr, flying off for my 10 days vietnam study mission on tuesday. Haven't got everything ready and prepared yet. Honestly, i dont wanna go! Formal wear everyday :( but thinking about 1 module lesser next sem brings a smile to my face (: no lectures and tutorials. so ive got only 4 modules! haha. my project group's really smart too, 3 outta 6 are top scorers in the cohorde. haha, cream of the crop. sadly, im not one of them. hah.
Well, life hasn't been exactly great. Experienced some ups & downs, confusions, problems....
hopefully it'll be a better weekend to come..

Sailing camp just ended. The relatively hardwork paid off, im thankful for the com members who are there to support each other. Juniors were really enthusiastic, hyper, fun-filled. i see the potential in them! haha, yay (: hopefully the club's legacy will continue.. well, after camp, ive been sleeping soooo much, too much. I take like 3, 4 hrs nap 3, 4 times a day!

What more can i ask for? Ive got a happy life, really. Thank God He's blessed me with so much. Family, boyf, close friends, people who love and care for me. I enjoy my meals everyday, can do shopping, ive got a place to stay, a school with many friends. I am contented. Imagine & look arnd you, the old uncles & aunties cleaning the canteen, or picking up old cans from the bins by the bus stops. Or even, the paralyzed sitting by the bridge selling tissue papers. I sympathize with them, just cant imagine myself being in their shoes, let alone, at such an old age.
Life, let's live it well, cherish it. Dont complain & be contented with what we have.

Today. i slacked at home the whole day, pencil was supposed to come over today and i was supposed to meet xiyao, wj and the rest for weeting's farewell surprise. but i was snuggled up in bed cus of the rainy weather. SLEEP (: Oh! the most exciting thing was, i drove frm hillview to dover (to pick some stuff) and then fetched my aunt back to serangoon then back to hillview. Was good overall, but gotta keep practising. I must admit, my parking is horrendous. My godmum was my instructor for the day! hee, driving's just so fun.

School's Out-Scream & Shout! Whoopiee! the long awaited holidays & freeeedom's finally here. felt totally good after the invigilator said, 'Time's up, pens down.' Felt like a bird, with wings pop popp poppin' out, ready to fly! really havent had time to rest. but well im gonna cherish my 7 weeks holidays to the max. but the holidays are gonna be so busy too. Sailing camp, vietnam ibsm pretrip for a week (9-5) & vietnam trip itself (10days). so im so gonna use my time wisely and make it fruitful :)

The quote's so very true, isn't it? True friends vs Friends who veils up. How scary this world is, you'll never know who'll come round and stab you at the back. It came upon me when i thought who'll be by my side when im down and out, who'll listen to my sorrows and pains, who are the ones whom i can share all my joys and happiness with? Aint easy finding true, sincere friends whom you know would be with u till the very end. Ive got a few, countable with my fingers. Alright, was just reflecting back upon my life. Met up with little miss jolene to study. As usual, with her, my stomach's always blessed with lotsa food. haha, being the forgetful me, i rushed out of the house without my atm, ezlink and cardkey. But phew~ i had sufficient money to last me through the day. Met her after church at holland v, had hawker food, headed to bk to study so she had ice lemon tea & i was obliged to buy something, Hershey's sundae pie. So we wont seem like we're taking up space for nothing. lol. After our rather fulfilling study, we went on exploring holland v cus she stays in Farland (Serangoon) and only came here recently. Walked to Chip Bee gardens, had beautiful shops, cafes & restaurants! Went Dolci, Da Paolo for some heavenly looking/tasting mango cheesecake and berries crumble pie. Straight after, Coffeebean to continue studying. Reg Pure Choc & Belgian Hot Choc.

Moral of my day:

hahaha! nah, kidding. Chit-chatting, nonsensical laughters, jokes, heartfelt talks, food & more food, study session just made my day. Yayness, meeting Tuesday again!
